Anthony Erian is a renowned established Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon with over 25 years experience in the field of aesthetic surgery, a fellow of two Royal Colleges, F.R.C.S. (Erg), F.R.C.S. (Ed). American.
Board Certified and Accredited in Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery and President of the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and sits on the Editorial Board of the journal of Aesthetic and Restorative Surgery, he has himself published articles on this specialty. He is also president of The European and International Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He has recently been made a professor by Oradea University.
Mr. Erian has an active teaching programme in the field of aesthetic surgery and is the Medical Director and Principal Surgeon at The Cambridge Private Hospital and also has an established practice at 10 Harley Street, London.
Recently, Mr. Erian was made an honorary fellow of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery and was instrumental in establishing a Fellowship Programme.
Mr. Erian has also been honored in several countries for his contribution in this field. They include Japan, Russia, India and Europe.
Surgical experience in aesthetic surgery
For the last 20 years I have only been involved with Aesthetic Surgery. After my accreditation in the States and Europe, I set out as a full time Private Surgeon.
I am familiar with all aspects of Aesthetic Surgery the commonest being Augmentation mammoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Rhytidectomy (Face Lift), Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Liposuction, Breast Uplift, Breast Reduction, Abdominoplasty, Chin and Cheek Implants, etc.
I have performed several hundreds of these procedures and I am familiar with latest advancements in this field. A large number of these patients required either General or Twilight anaesthesia. An anaesthetist is always required for safety. Average stay in hospital is between 1-4 nights.
Several new procedures have recently been popularised e.g. Liposuction, I was fortunate to be one of the first Surgeons to perform this method in Britain and the new method of Liposuction of the Neck is credited to me. (Refer to Article in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery) titled "A NEW SIMPLIFIED METHOD OF LIPOSUCTION TO THE NECK WHICH IS ALSO SUITABLE FOR LIPOTRANSFER".
I have acquired a large private practice through G.P. referrals and satisfied patient recommendation over the years. As mentioned above, I have set a new protocol in pre-operative assessments of patients, which had reduced the complaints to nil at the Cambridge Private Hospital.
