Giorgio Fischer is the son of Arpad Fischer, who was the first surgeon to practice Cosmetic Surgery in Italy, but only after having obtained the Church’s authorization in 1956.
In 1970 they founded the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the Societa’ Italiana di Chirurgia Estetica. Giorgio Fischer is now President of both these societies. In 1986 Giorgio Fischer founded the Societa’ Italiana di Liposcultura.
He has written numerous articles on liposculpture, which have been published in books and magazines all over the world.
